In June, Guy Hopkins Construction contacted Last Man Enterprises concerning their broken Wordpress website. After some investigation it was apparent that it would take some timely develop to fix the issues, if they could be fixed. With no guarantees and timely (potentialy endless) development LME instead offered to build a new, working website, that was guaranteed to last.
We started with a basic, html and css design to be served statically. Halfway through the project the client decided to upgrade to a Publication where they could edit and add projects to their portfolio.
We went a little further than the scope on the project details page to ensure an excellent customer experience when browsing the projects. If an architect or owner had another project with Guy Hopkins, we provided a link with a filter to all the projects owned or designed by that firm. There is also a category filter built in but right now unused by the client.
In the end we were very happy with the codebase, the design, and its future-proof construction. We are confident that this site will remain unbroken for decades to come.
